I taught in Saudi for 2 years and before that was in the UAE for 4 years. 

Id say it all depends on your city and school as to how it is e.g are you on a compound? Outside of a compound you will have to wear an abaya and may be asked to cover your hair especially in Riyadh, Jeddah is more liberal in that respect. I'd definitely say research the school and check out reviews or talk to teachers working there before making a decision. I know people who've taught there for years and others who only managed a few months.
